I went to Essex based on a recommendation from the Westin in Charlotte and they were spot on! Only a 10 minute walk from the hotel and this place delivered on all fronts! The food was absolutely amazing, the service was fast and on point and the patio ..
Pros: The specialty cocktails, the Bang-Bang Grouper, Lamb Chops and everything else about this place!
Cons: You have some noise from the busy streets.
