Description
A husband and wife team of self taught artisans who make historically correct items from the Fur Trade Era in American history. We cater to primitive hunters, and mountain man reenactors. We also will use items clients send us to rework into something usable. Good use for family heirlooms that are unusable in their present state.
Bud is a blacksmith/ knife maker and does all the metal works used for our in items, including rings and buckles for the bags.
Miss Tudy hand creates and hand sews all the sheaths and bags ( medicine bags, possibles etc.)
All of our work follows history closely in materials used and design. We recycle things when possible because that's what would have been done, no going out to the corner store for what you needed back then. You will often see antique beads being used extensive searches are done to find what we need but we think the end product is worth it.
