Description
We purchased a 114-year-old, 32,000sf site that had been used for soda production and packaging. We reinvented it into a Craft Brewery. We made it Cool again.
Granite Falls Brewing Company is proud to be located in the historic Granite Bottling Works (1903-1978) and Pepsi-Cola Bottling (1978-2012) plant. The original 1903 Bolick’s bottling plant still stands as and within the brick walls along the left side of the building and lobby interior. Come celebrate with us, as we continue 114 years of beverage production and bottling onsite!
History: in December 2012, Mastroeli-MacNeil Equity Investments financed the purchase of this 32,000 square foot configuration of three warehouses, situated on 2.08 acres contiguous to Downtown Granite Falls. A panoramic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains runs the rear of the building. The owners financed a painstaking build-out, and are proud of the adaptive reuse of this warehouse/manufacturing space into a supper club, eatery, and old-style "watering hole."
The Brewery: GFB is a 30BBL/(40BBL) craft beer production facility. We brew onsite and within sight while you indulge your senses in our Southern Gastropub restaurant and attached Tasting Room. Our brewpub features a wraparound 103-foot-long tasting counter, copper/penny-topped wine bar, and serves as a world-class music venue. Eclectic artifacts dress the spaces for those with an itch for the odd or unique.
