Carolina Speedway is one of the oldest and most successful short tracks in the South. Nestled right on the NC/SC border Carolina Speedway has long been a fan and driver favorite. From a fan's point of view, the track has adopted the ‘Carolina's Action Track' slogan for its non-stop action filled events. The ‘racy' surface has drawn competitors from all over the Carolinas for many years.
The track has six exciting dirt track divisions that are all unique in their own way. Late Models headline the racing program. Carolina Speedway is one of only a handful of tracks in the country still racing the ultra-fast Late Models. They are the premier racing division on dirt. We also run the NDRA GM Performance (crate engine) Late Models on a weekly basis. This has quickly turned into one of the most competitive divisions around. We also feature the Open Wheel Modifieds, which has turned into a fan favorite because of their high-horsepower and ‘all out' style of racing. Thr
