Originally from Williamstown Massachusetts, Connor-Shelton went on to attend Radford University where she graduated with a degree in media studies and advertising. Upon completion of college, she moved to Mount Pleasant, SC, where she began a career as a full time real estate agent, serving the Charleston market. During her three years in Charleston, she helped her clients navigate through new construction builds, buying homes/condos, resales and land sales.
