Trips for Kids Charlotte is a nonprofit that provides mountain bike rides - as well as the opportunity to Earn-A-Bike - for children ages 10 to 15 from Charlotte's fragile neighborhoods.
The organization uses mountain biking and related activities to teach youngsters lessons in personal responsibility, self-empowerment, achievement, environmental awareness, physical fitness and community service.
