All programs, with the exceptions of a men's permanent housing facility in Dilworth, a women's permanent housing facility in University City and a men's transitional housing facility in Concord, have now been consolidated into a substance-free recovery campus on North Tryon Street in Charlotte. The Villages of Hope Haven, formerly the Villager Inn Motel, consists of 11.6 acres, which includes a 17,500 square foot conference center, 206 housing units, administrative space, chapel, commercial greenhouse, an on-site commercial laundry, a commercial kitchen and dining area, and meeting rooms. Once a thriving hotel and conference center, the property in the early 90's fell prey to drug dealers and criminal activity. Within the year prior to Hope Haven's arrival, local police reported over 600 calls to the Villager Inn site. Today, Hope Haven's strong community presence has effectively changed all that! The agency is committed not only to providing quality comprehensive services to its residents, but also to partnering in the revitalization and empowerment of the community.
