The Central American Studies Committee 2014-2015 is committed to building the group, encouraging students, faculty, and independent scholars interested in the region, its people, its history, and present issues. One goal for this year is to encourage international scholars to become members. Another goal is to encourage greater participation at the annual meetings--2015 will be January 2-5 in New York City in conjunction with the American Historical Association Annual Meeting.
