Opening in October 2010, the Mint Museum Uptown will house collections of American Art, Contemporary Art, European Art and the relocated Mint Museum of Craft + Design, which features a permanent collection that documents studio craft and design from the 19th century to present day. The 145,000-square-foot facility includes a Family Gallery, cafe, clay and painting studios, expanded Museum Shop and a Special Events Pavilion with outdoor terrace.
