Film Actors' Studio of Charlotte

Film Actors Studio (FASt) was created in 1997 with the mission of offering the novice and professional actor instruction in organic acting techniques.

While many disciplines anchor their instruction in the embracement of fiction, FAST holds true to the belief that the most powerful performances are always based on the exploration and utilization of the truth.

Founded by Acting Professor Lon Bumgarner, with supporting instruction by Marilyn Carter and Patrick Keenan. Three of the most knowledgeable veterans in both stage and film, in the Charlotte area.

FASt classes are held evenings and weekends in an intimate studio setting in the offices of Corrigan & Johnston Casting Agency, 3006 N. Davidson St. in the NoDa (North Davidson) neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina.
