Beer is the drink people connect over.
It bridges the divides between us, and brings us closer together. When the lives of three best friends began to take them in different directions, their passion for brewing kept them together. For years, Ryan, Mike and Ryan would travel cross country to meet up over garage brewing sessions. When traveling was impractical, they just mailed hops.
Over time, their vision for a new kind of brewery formed.
Today, Protagonist continues to explore rare and unexpected brews with the guidance of expert brewmasters and cicerones, and our neighbors and friends too. Together, we’re building a community inspired and empowered by the brewing, consuming, and culture of beer.
